About Anshuman Sehgal, CPA, CA Founder · Lead CPA · NJ Sehgal & Associates Inc Licensed since 2011
Why this firm exists
After ten years inside Fortune 500 finance teams, Anshuman Sehgal kept seeing the same pattern. Large companies had monthly close, real financial reporting, and decision-grade information about their business. Small businesses had a tax return once a year — and almost no visibility in between. The gap wasn’t skill. It was affordability.
He founded NJ Sehgal & Associates Inc in 2009 to close it. The mission: give small businesses bookkeeping, taxation, and consulting services at a cost they can afford, delivered monthly — so owners can make informed decisions and make their businesses more profitable.
Background
Anshuman is a CPA licensed in New Jersey since 2001 (License No. 20CC03855700) and a Chartered Accountant from India qualified in 1998. He brings 25 years of financial reporting experience:
- 10 years at public companies — AIG (financial reporting + SAP Implementation), Schindler Elevator (financial reporting), and Capsugel (financial reporting + SAP implementation).
- 15 years in CPA practice — leading NJ Sehgal & Associates Inc since 2011.
The decade inside public-company finance shaped the firm’s approach: applying large-company financial discipline at small-business scale and price.
